In 1998, he obtained a stimulus Grant from the CREA (National Council of Resources for Youth Care). In 2000 he was a finalist in the 3rd Mexico Internet Contest and obtained honorable mention as well as “Youth Values by Bacardí & Company,” in II Digital Photography Contest organized by FotoZoom magazine and in the AIDS vs. Poster Contest organized by UAM Azcapotzalco.
